‘Hope, Community, Healing & Justice’

4:00-5:00pm | 282 Maine St, Cumberland Center, Maine

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and come post up for our final Summer performance!* Hosted by Cumberland Congregational church, this event is bringing community together in the spirit of hope, healing and justice.
FREE to the public.

*In case of wet weather this event moves inside the parish hall (high ceilings, open windows on both sides). Masks required for guests to indoor shows. Distancing is encouraged. Performers are vaccinated.

Colby College and Waterville Arts Collaborative is bringing community together to celebrate arts and culture. Join us in celebrating their new space! FREE to the public.

‘Tales of Bells & Drums’

5:30-7:30pm | Merrill Auditorium*, Portland, Maine

New Moon Ensemble (Guinean drum & dance) is very excited to take part in this special showcase, hosted by Ikirenga Cy’Intore (Rwandan drum & dance) and in collaboration with Batimbo United (Burundian drum & dance)!

This celebration showcases the tradition of telling stories through dancing and drumming, including live performances and documentary film presentation. We hope you’ll join us for this very special cultural event!

*Merrill Auditorium safety protocol requires masks to be worn by all staff, guests and volunteers. All performers are vaccinated. Seating can be selected by the attendees at time of ticket purchase.
